§ 13-15 Damages - Buildings

The cost of repair or restoration is a valid measure of damages for injury to a building. However, compensation may be limited to the value of the building before the damage was inflicted. When determining the amount of damages, if any, you may consider a competent estimate of the cost of repair to a building.
