§ 13-10 Damages - Speculative Damages

The existence or amount of damages cannot be left to conjecture, guess or speculation. However, proof of amount of loss with absolute or mathematical certainty is not required. Damages must be susceptible of ascertainment with a reasonable degree of certainty.
