A Missouri appeals court has ruled that an impaneled juror who lied about being party to a past lawsuit does not entitle the plaintiffs in a 2007 wrongful death suit to a new trial.

The Missouri Court of Appeals Western District upheld a finding from a Jackson County circuit judge that said although a juror intentionally withheld information about a prior lawsuit, under current caselaw, no new trial can be granted.
