A St. Louis man's conviction has been vacated after prosecutors failed to disclose the alleged victim's criminal history.
The Missouri Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday that Jason Merriweather's right to a fair trial was violated when prosecutors' search of a victim's criminal history did not reveal her criminal record. The state's lack of diligent efforts to locate information favorable to Merriweather violated the Missouri rules of disclosure in criminal proceedings, the court said.See the full content of this document
