Monies owed from a division of fees in a personal injury lawsuit are not dischargeable in an attorney's bankruptcy case, a U.S. District Court in Ohio has ruled in affirming a bankruptcy order.
The defendant replaced the plaintiff representing a client seeking damages for nursing home negligence.
