Operation CPA: volunteers needed to assist military families: recognize the sacrifice being made by Ohio reservists, Guard, and active service members by joining Operation CPA. This volunteer-based program matches CPAs with local military families in need of tax preparation assistance. The effort is the result of a partnership between The Ohio Society of CPAs and the Ohio National Guard.

"Through Operation CPA, The Ohio Society and its members show support for the men and women in our armed services who are risking their lives for our country," said Clarke Price, Society president and CEO. "Deployed service members have many challenges to deal with professionally and personally. Tax return preparation is just one more thing to worry about. We know that filing tax returns can be a significant concern to service members and their families. Operation CPA helps alleviate that stress."

To qualify for assistance, military personnel must meet the following requirements:

* Ohio resident

* Family member is currently deployed outside of Ohio
