The 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has affirmed the dismissal of a detective's retaliation suit against the city of St. Charles.
Sgt. Ronald L. Lloyd claimed he was demoted to afternoon shift supervisor because he supported the losing candidate in the city's 2007 mayoral election. The shift transfer caused Lloyd to give up a second job as head coach of the St. Charles West High School freshman football team.See the full content of this document
