Make your voice heard with Ohio CPA/PAC: Ohio CPA/PAC is the only political action committee dedicated to protecting the collective interests of CPAs in Ohio. Ohio CPA/PAC has an impressive 95% success rate in supporting winning candidates, incumbent legislators and statewide office holders.

OSCPA works with these elected leaders to promote legislation supporting the accounting profession, strengthen the business climate in Ohio, and help defeat proposals that could negatively impact the accounting profession.

Although it is related to The Ohio Society of CPAs, Ohio CPA/PAC is a separate non-profit organization governed by a board of trustees comprised of fellow CPAs. These trustees make well-informed decisions about which candidate Ohio CPA/PAC will support though financial contributions.

Ohio CPA/PAC is funded solely by donations from individuals members and nonmembers--separate from member dues. Ohio law prohibits the use of member dues to make contributions to candidate campaigns.

Becoming a CPA/PAC contributor is both simple and critical.

"While many contribute to campaigns of friends, we need the Ohio CPA/PAC to enable us, as a profession, to aggregate financial resources and direct them to support the election of individuals who are willing to listen to our input on pertinent issues and help our profession and the business environment in Ohio," said Ohio CPA/PAC Chair Allyn Adams, CPA. "If for no other reason, we at least need to neutralize the well-funded influence of our adversaries."
