Even though the status quo has been shaken up with the recent Republican sweep of the county government beginning Jan. 1, newly elected County Executive Ken Waller plans to stir the pot even more when he takes office.

Waller, of Herculaneum, won over Democratic opponent Randy Holman of Festus by 1,500 votes in last week's general election. In addition, all of the county council districts, except one, elected Republican candidates.
