Backwoods to open first Missouri store

Backwoods plans to open a 10,000-square-foot store Aug. 29-30 on an out-parcel at The Meadows at Lake Saint Louis shopping center. This will be the retailer's first store in Missouri. The store will feature an array of outdoor gear, footwear and apparel, and will donate 10 percent of its sales those first two days to the Eastern Missouri Big Brothers Big Sisters organization.
