Contrary to Donald Trump's fearmongering, violent crime has fallen dramatically over the last two decades.

VIOLENT CRIME RATE:

SINCE 1995...

...the rate of murder and non-negligent manslaughter decreased from 8.2 to 4.5 per 100,000 people in the U.S.

...the rate of aggravated assault decreased from 418.3 to 232.5 per 100,000 people in the U.S.

Why do these numbers stop with 2014? That's the last year...
