A Jewish community center cannot be sued under Title VII by a former employee who claimed she was discriminated against based on her evangelical Christian beliefs, the 3rd Circuit has ruled.
The plaintiff was employed for four years as a bookkeeper by the non-profit center, which was funded in part by local synagogues, other Jewish organizations, donations and charitable institutions.
