A wheelchair manufacturer could assign an enforceable indemnification claim against medical providers as part of its settlement with a plaintiff, the D.C. Court of Appeals has ruled.
The plaintiff claimed he was injured due to a malfunctioning wheelchair and received medical treatment as a result. He sued for negligence and product liability.
