Computer & Technology Surveys

Members of the American Institute of CPAs were surveyed to find out how and what kind of computer software they use. Types used included time and billing, tax, audit, spreadsheet, word processing, database and database services. Anti virus measures are taken by one fourth of public firms and under half of industry offices. However, passwords are used by 84% of accountants in industry and 43% of public CPAs.
