Reading and rereading Harvey Wasserman's article, "The Unstoppable Green Power Revolution" in the June/July issue, filled me with both encouragement and a sense of responsibility. Today, even under Trump, we are in a much better position with regard to alternative energy and alternative technologies such as electric cars. The costs are more competitive than they were just ten years ago, when another environmentally hostile President (George W. Bush) occupied the White House.

Having said that, there is much we all need to do, from divestment campaigns in fossil fuels, to the support of renewable energy providers, to the election of environmentally friendly officials, to the purchase of new technologies from LED lights to...
