David Domke, professor of communication at the University of Washington, is coauthor of the new book The God Strategy: How Religion Became a Political Weapon in America (Oxford University Press). In the book, Domke and his coauthor, Kevin Coe, discuss the fusion of religion and politics in America and the tendency of faith to be used as a political weapon.
