Federal and state investigators say an initial investigation does "not appear to indicate any health risks" from soil samples that are the basis for several lawsuits in northwest Missouri.
In a news release today, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Region 7 office said it found only low levels of the carcinogen hexavalent chromium in soil samples from four counties north of Kansas City. However, it is continuing to study the issue.See the full content of this document
