A fanatical anti-abortion group is retaliating against televangelist Rev. Jerry Falwell for his refusal to back Operation Rescue Director Flip Benham. Falwell said he supported Operation Rescue until Benham took over and began implementing extreme tactics. Operation Rescue protesters entered Falwell's Liberty University bookstore and unsuccessfully attempted to order a book that carried photographs of nude children by photographer David Hamilton.
