The new Dena'ina Civic and Convention Center, which opened this fall in Anchorage, features several pieces from Alaska artists. Fairbanks resident James Grant crafted a $125,000 stained glass piece consisting of more than 4,000 pieces of colored glass, 660 strands of beads.
