The St. Louis Board of Police Commissioners agreed to pony up $35,000 to settle a civil rights lawsuit over a teen's struggle with a former police officer the week before a jury decided the police officer wasn't at fault.
The teenager dismissed his claims against the board in exchange for the cash settlement, a spokeswoman for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said in an e-mail response to a request for information.See the full content of this document
