More than 57 percent of CFO respondents to a recent survey said they favor an extension of the three-year moratorium on Internet access taxes and multiple or discriminatory taxes on e-commerce. The moratorium, established by Congress in 1998 by the Internet Tax Freedom Act, expires in October 2001.

The survey, developed by RHI Management Resources, is based on responses from 1,400 CFOs from a stratified random sample of companies with more than 20 employees.
