This year marketers who attend the ABA Marketing Conference can obtain continuing education credit toward maintenance of their Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) designation.

CFMPs who attend the event will, be able to claim up to 14 hours of credit This year's conference will, be held in Chicago on September 14-16.

To maintain a CFMP, a marketer must complete 45 hours of continuing education every three years. As of April, slightly more than 200 persons had received their CEMP.

In addition, this year's conference will include a reception for CFMPs.

The following is a list of conference sessions and workshops that will be eligible for continuing education credit The number following each represents the eligible credit-hours.

Sunday, Sept. 14

General Session: More with Less, Faster with Fewer and Better than Ever, 1.25 hours.

Concurrent Workshops: Finding the Right Customers and Keeping Them, 3.5 hours.

Building Your Brand with a Limited Budget, 3.5 hours.

There's No Business Like Small Business, 3.5 hours.

Monday, Sept. 15

Concurrent Sessions: Essential of Marketing Wealth Management, 2 hours.
