B.Z. Lee has been a public accountant for 40 years and has served on the AICPA's board of directors, was chairman of BDO International and was AICPA deputy-chairman in public affairs. Lee sees increased competition in accounting as removing the collegiality between firms which has caused an increase in commerciality. He believes opportunities abound but that they come with risks especially of increased liability.
