U.S. Court of Appeals 8th Circuit Case Summaries: May 17, 2010

Where evidence showed that a debtor operated his contracting company as a facade through which he obtained personal benefits, piercing the corporate veil was appropriate, and a debt to a supplier-creditor remained the personal liability of the debtor and should not have been discharged, so the judgment of the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel is reversed.

Judgment is reversed.
