A Basic Vocabulary of the Bedouin Arabic Dialect of the Jbali Tribe.

A comparative study of the 'Pancavimsatisahasrika Prajnaparamita.'

Most Prajnaparamita texts are known to be revised versions culled from Indian and Tibetan translations. The discovery of a Central Asian fragment of an unrevised text written in Sanskrit is therefore significant as it could herald a breakthrough in the study of ancient Buddhist manuscripts. The Central Asian fragment comes from the Manuscript Archive of the Institute of Oriental Studies in St. Petersburg, Russia.

A fragment of the 'Pancavimsatisahasrika Prajnaparamita-sutra' from eastern Turkestan.

A Central Asian fragment held by the Manuscript Archive of the St. Petersburg branch of the Institute of Oriental Studies in Russia has been identified to be part of the Prajnaparamita literature. The fragment is described as being a Sanskrit rendering of the Pancavimsatisahasrika Prajnaparamita-sutra. Specifically, the language used in the fragment is identified to be a form of Buddhist Hybrid Sanksrit that exhibits a stong Middle Indic influence.
