The Educational Footprint of Corporate Executives
Unlike other professions, there has never been a regulatory body mandating a common education for business executives. Despite a robust body of research describing the educational attributes of executives, there is very little literature highlighting characteristics from a predictive-odds perspective. It would not seem unusual to learn that business is the major of greatest prevalence; yet, considering there are many more business majors each year than English majors is it truly the degree of...
Students at a private Christian university took part in a study focusing on high-level motivation and goal commitment. Using path analysis, this study mapped out two-paths. The first path to motivation and, therefore, goal commitment was through self-efficacy. The second path to goal commitment required a more supportive course. Spiritual, peer, family and leadership support combined to create a more encouraging sequence of action toward motivation and goal dedication.
An Empirical Study On Work Attitudes in Government Service
A large amount of literature indicates that psychological contracts affect the feelings an individual has toward their job, their involvements in the organization, and the emotional connections (work attitudes).
