Introduction of computer software Transparent Language - Ojo Americas Magazine together with Transparent Language, a foreign-language software company, has launched an innovative way of independently studying a foreign language by computer. Organization of American States Committee on Environment meeting - OAS Delegates from 30 OAS member states gathered at Washington, DC in a meeting called by Organization of American States Committee on Environment. The agenda for 1993-94 and the possibility of adopting a new and updated regional treaty incorporating environmental issues were discussed inasmuch as many countries among them enjoy great ecological abundance.

Exhibition of Tropicalia pioneer Helio Oiticica's works The Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota will exhibit the works of artist Helio Oiticica, a pioneer of the Tropicalismo movement of the 1960s, in October 1993. The same exhibit will be shown in New York in 1994 before it goes to Brazil.
