Commentary: Arbitration of Securities Cases Sometimes Can Pay Off
Tracking arbitration awards can be a difficult task. Many times the results are kept confidential or not reported. So far this year only five arbitration awards have been reported directly to us by attorneys, and last year there were just six. In the last issue of Missouri Lawyers we published a report on a $759,803 arbitration award handed down Aug. 6 by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
